Senior Startup Acceleration Coordinator

Mark O’Connor, Senior Startup Acceleration Coordinator, is the main point of contact, advocacy, and navigation for the community’s entrepreneurs. Focusing on business growth and product road mapping, Mark is the primary liaison to help startups navigate mHUB’s broad technical and entrepreneurial resources.

Prior to joining mHUB, Mark co-founded a med-tech company building a novel imaging device for oral cancer screening utilizing AI risk factors and image analysis. His startup was accepted into the HAX Accelerator, voted the most innovative AI startup in medicine, and ranked in the top 10 of med-tech startups by UCSF. He has first-hand experience wearing all the hats of a founder and is happy to help with anything from product development to pitch decks.

Mark graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. Mark is passionate about meeting new founders, learning about new technologies, and playing ultimate frisbee.
