We are seeking a full time product engineer to head product management as it relates specifically to bringing medical devices from prototype to the market. This position will be based in Chicago, Illinois. You will focus on engineering solutions to product issues. This will include overseeing design verification and validation, design transfer, and risk management and mitigation. You will also work closely with other engineers to apply your insights to relevant R&D and provider education. Interested candidates should send a resume to ashley@cast21.com
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee design process from idea conception to market
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate our product
- Develop and execute solutions related to usability needs
- Analyze data associated with human trials
- Analyze and mitigate product risk factors
- Assist with product development as it relates to project needs
- Work with our manufacturer to implement changes
Minimum Requirements for this Position - Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field
- 1-3 years work experience
