PCB Soldering Specialist (Contractor - Flexible Workforce)
PCB Soldering Specialist -> Hands-on soldering and assembly on an as-needed basis (daily, nightly or weekends)
Work with cross-functional engineering team to assist Wireless Power projects to success
Modify wireless power solutions for a diversity of applications, including consumer electronics, industrial devices, automotive, medical, etc.
Printed circuit board SMD (down to 0201 component size) and through hole soldering and modification work.
Read and interpret PCB part placement instructions, electrical schematics, and other specifications.
Perform manual assembly of various wireless power transfer systems.
Ability to work under a microscope.
Usage of hand assembly tools.
Understanding of component sizes/packages and wire gauges.
Ensuring a high level of quality in all phases of prototyping.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Proficiency in use of electrical modification equipment (soldering station, heat-gun and preheater)
Ability to work individually
Passion for working on electrical hardware
Ability to multitask and be flexible
PREFERABLE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Usage of DMM’s, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.
Experience in a development lab setting
Basic knowledge of Altium
Impedance Analyzer testing
